Good day Independent Adjusting Team:
This is a notice and update for all Florida licensed adjusters. Due to the updates of Florida statute 627.7013 (starting at line 468 of https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2021/1598/BillText/er/PDF) Florida licensed adjusters will be required to provide their name and license number on initial contact AND any subsequent communications with the insured. Please see the relevant lines, 502-510 below:
This means that from here going forward, all CCMS & Associate adjusters operating in the state of Florida MUST provide their Name and Florida State Adjuster License information upon both first contact with the insured, and all other follow up communications with the insured regardless of communication method.
Recommendation from CCMS & Associates is for all Adjusters to clearly photograph their business card with name and Florida license number on photo #2. In addition, add you Florida license number to your email signature line to satisfy communication requirements.

We continue to offer services that include full inspections with protections in place to ensure that our associates and the policyholders are not in harm’s way.
